Fluency Journal

Fluency Journal Assignment

For 4 days each week you will write in a Fluency Journal. This will help you increase your ability to write fluently. This means that as you practice, you will be able to write more and write better in a given time period.

Materials Needed: a Blue Book, a pen or pencil, and a timer or clock

Instructions:
     1. Choose a topic from this week's list.
     2. Write the date and topic at the top of the page.
     3. Set a timer for 15 minutes and write about your topic. You may write for longer if you want.
     4. Turn in your Fluency Journal on Monday morning in class. I'll give it back to you by Tuesday.
